Born and raised in Henry County, Rev. Milton S. Goggins is a Pastor and businessman. He was
called into ministry at an early age and has been preaching and teaching the Word of God for
over 20 years now. Having received his formal ministerial training from Bryant Theological
Seminary in Atlanta, GA, he stands boldly to preach the gospel to all who will listen and will do so
both in and out of season. He is warm, compassionate and readily and willingly able to recognize
and respond to the plight of others in a positive, loving and generous way ---- always ready to go
the extra mile. He strives to ensure that God’s people receive sound biblical doctrine in the form
of preaching and teaching that is relevant for all generations.
Under his leadership the membership at Mount Moriah Baptist Church has grown tremendously
and continues to flourish. As founder and Pastor, he has established various ministries designed
to meet the needs of his congregation and the community at large. He is committed to ensuring
that Mount Moriah is “a place where everybody is somebody and Christ is all. Where
disciples are made and families are strengthened.”
In addition to his pastoral duties, Rev. Goggins is a business owner, and is a member of the
Henry County Chamber of Commerce., and serves on the Board of Directors of the First Bank
Financial Services in Henry County.
He is married to Sister Sheila Goggins and has five children, and two grandchildren.
